Perseus Finds Andromeda
Returning with the head of Medusa, Perseus saw Andromeda chained to a rock as an offering to a sea monster sent against her kingdom. He learned her plight, confronted the creature, and freed her; the rescue led to marriage, though further conflict still had to be overcome. The myth joins timely travel, courageous service, and unexpected love. Perseus receives a blessing not by chasing it directly, but by acting honorably when another person’s need appears along his path.
