Psyche Completes the Trials of Venus
In the myth of Cupid and Psyche, the mortal Psyche sought reunion with her divine lover and submitted to impossible tasks imposed by Venus. She sorted a mountain of seeds, gathered dangerous golden wool, fetched water from a perilous height, and descended toward the underworld. Help appeared when her courage and purpose held firm. After one final failure and rescue, Psyche was granted immortality and formally united with Cupid. Her journey makes love a discipline of faith, humility, endurance, and transformation rather than mere desire.
